VPN 3005 + DNS + PIX501

Hi!

We are using a VPN 3005 so our customers can connect to our intranet with vpn. The costumers are using PIX501 to create a tunnel. To start the tunnel they have to type the ip address to our intranet.

Is it possible to configure the VPN 3005 or the PIX501 to start the tunnel then they connect using hostname instead of ip addresses?

Provided you have configured your PIX/Concentrator with a DNS server for lookups you can do it on both your Isa peer statements will have hostname and not IP address. Doesnt really make much of a difference though, unless you have a DNS entry for multiple IP addresses.
