VPN and the 6500 Switch

Does any know if there is a way( or can I) terminate a VPN from the Cisco 6500 switch?

No there’s no VPN support in that switch. What are you trying to accomplish? I can probably point you towards the right equipment.

We have a Cisco 6500 at our boundary. We would like to connect to a proprietary site that has a CISCO VPN(Not sure what model). I would like to have established a VPN through our 6500 without having to buy extra equipment. Our partner is willing to supply us with a 2600 router which is ok, however it will change our architecture a little bit.

Any suggestions???
