VPN AnyConnect / WebVPN problem

HI, 

After upgrade ASA from 5520 IOS 9.0.(4)40   to new ASA 5525-X with IOS 9.8.(2)15  i got strange message on Webvpn using chorome . 

Config is same except these two lines on 9.0 

ssl server-version any
ssl client-version any

i can put them i asa 5525  ios 9.8 .

Any help why i got this meessage on chrome using webvpn ?

I think you are using SmartTunnels and hitting this feature which was
introduced in 9.7.1

A new method for smart-tunnel support in the Chrome browser on Mac and
Windows devices was created. A Chrome Smart Tunnel Extension has replaced
Netscape Plugin Application Program Interfaces (NPAPIs) that are no longer
supported on Chrome. If you click on the smart tunnel enabled bookmark in
Chrome without the extension already being installed, you are redirected to
the Chrome Web Store to obtain the extension. New Chrome installations will
direct the user to the Chrome Web Store to download the extension. The
extension downloads the binaries from ASA that are required to run smart
tunnel. Your usual bookmark and application configuration while using smart
tunnel is unchanged other than the process of installing the new extension.

HI , yes i understand that and im glad you answered to me .

But what was changed on ASA devices , since while there was 9.0 version that message didnt apeared and now with 9.8.2 it apears.

Nothing. Smarttunnels seems to be enabled in your configuration. Since,
this feature wasn't present in 9.0, you didn't see this popup. Now in 9.8
its present so you are seeing this setup.

Hi ,

Yes it was enabled and used , webvpn used as anyconnect also , and for many many users .

that way i asked if you know what happened in new software for ASA , since there is no change in config of ASA
