VPN BANDWIDTH ISSUE

my company is having 515E with fos 6.3

and having 10 ipsec vpn tunnels with bandwidth 4 Mbps ... But I am getting only

500 Kbps per tunnel ... what SHALL i DO to improve the bandwidth used by each tunnel.. when no other tunnel are active?

I would be greateful to you .. if you can give some guide line on this regard

Hi Swamy,

while initiating a ping from one PC to the destination use the following ping x.x.x.x -t -l 1500 -f

This will give you message that the packet is to be formatted

Keep decreasing this value till you come across a value which allows you to ping through the tunnel.

Then issue the command sysopt connection tcpmss {value}

THe value you got from the ping.
