This is my problem.
I have a site-to-site VPN between a PIX 501E and checkpoint (nokia platform) running in simplified mode. Simplified mode means that the outside interface of checkpoint is part of the encryption domain, hence, when I set up the VPN, you cannot get to the external interface of the PIX anymore for management.
I tried making the management interface 'inside' as this lets you manage via a VPN, but for some reason this doesn't work.
Anyone have any idea?
Also, it was suggested that I make the external interface of the PIX part of the VPN encryption domain. How do you make the outside interface part of this?
