i am using the vpn client 3.6 on an xp machine to logon to a 2000 domain thru the pix 506 vpn server.
at all times, i was able establish secure vpn connection to the pix 506, but cant just logon to the 2000 server most of the time..
ive checked the chek box in the "enable start before login".
Its giving me both the DNS and WINS at all time..
THE things ive observe is that,
1. windows is not prompting me anything that i was not able to login or i was..it just goes through without prompting me any error login etc..
2. after the above process, if am lucky, then i could ping and access the server without any problem..
3. But if it looks like that i was not logged in, then ping and server access will all be failure.. But remember that in both cases, i have both the dns and wins on my vpn connection.
4. NOte that I was not having any problem using WINDOWS 98 at all.
