I have a VPN concentrator 3005 and vclient 3.0.3b. When i'm logged into the concentrator i'm not able to see anything in the network neiborhood except for my machine. Is there anyway to fix this??

Use LMHOSTS or WINS for name resolution.

Make sure you have Client for MS networks and File and print sharing tunrned on as well

I can understand LMHOSTS, but why would you need to turn on F&PS?

I went through the same situation and called TAC. They had me check Client for MS Networks and File and Print sharing. It worked as soon as I did it. I had tried LMHOSTS before to no avail.

The reason this is happing is that your client isn't getting NetBios updates. In a NT network you can use a WINS server to solve this problem. The F&PS works because the local systems starts it's own WINS process.

Simple solution add a WINS server to your network and configure the client to use the WINS server.
