Hi,
I am a student doing a project, but I am having a lot of trouble figuring out why my hosts cannot find each other when ISAKMP is on.
When it is off, all the hosts manage to ping each other no problem.
Apologies for not posting optimally, I am still very new to networking and not sure what is the most relevant.
Any help or advice on fixing this, or posting so that it is easier for others to see and reply to, would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
The requirements:
VPN tunnel between two remote networks.
Phase 1
Encrypt 3DES
DH groups 5
Hash function MD5
Shared key authentication
Phase 2
ESP protocol with AES encryption
ESP protocol with SHA hash functions
I followed this video for phase 1, and have two ipsec policies up.
