Greetings,
Is it possible to statically assign IP's out to windows 2000 clients establishing a VPN session?
Current config: Windows 2000 clients pptp to Pix515E using micrsoft VPN software. Users authenticate to TACACS+ AAA server. Currently all VPN successful sessions get assigned an IP from the 'ip local pool'. Would like to tie a static IP to the user account set up on the AAA server.
Any suggestion? or is this possible?
Thanks,

Here is a link that should be helpful. Basically you should just need to enable "Use address from authentication server" on the address assignment tabe.

Thanks for your response and the link. However the link gives options for a VPN Concentrator 3000 series. We are using a Pix515E to terminate the VPN session.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you,
