What questions should VPN Engineers ask to properly plan VFR and VPN configurations?

Other than the following, what questions should someone planning a VFR/VPN deployment ask/answer? 

1.  How many users will be accessing the VPN at peach usage? 
2. Are they using a VPN solution now? 
3. What devices will accessing the VPN?  
4. Will all devices be on the same domain?

You should ask:-

- What type of VPN will be used, Policy Based or Route Based?

- If Policy Based, what networks need to be protected?

- What version of IKE will be used, IKEv1 or IKEv2?

- What algorithms will be used for encryption, integrity, DH etc?

- What authentication method, Pre-Shared Key or Certificates?

- Do you need to lock down the traffic to port/protocols?

- What hardware will be used firewall (ASA/FTD) or router?
