when was RTU licenses removed on 2801 routers

Hi,

Can any body help me find this.

Which version of IOS did Cisco removed the RTU licenses on 2800 series routers or is it we can still use all the licenses i.e UC, SEC and DATA or do we have to buy it and will it be available as 2800 series is end of sale.

HI mohd, I believe because of the EOL the licenses would not be available any longer to purchase but I would still have to check to be sure please send me an email at fguasque@cisco.com so we can assist you further

RTU licenses have never existed on the ISR G1 platform.  You just have to purchase the license to be legally permitted to then load the appropriate featureset/image on your device.
