where to download update for software image using ASDM

I have an ASA 5505 VPN router w/ 10 license seats.

I want to update the software image using ASDM.

This article tells how to do it, but doesn't tell me where to download the update from.

Hi Kylan,

You can go to www.cisco.com, highlight "Support" on top, and click on "download software" in the menu that pops up.

Here you can search for the product/image that you need to download.

Hi, the link leads me to a download button but says a valid service contract is required. What does that mean? Did whatever it requires not come with the router?

Hi,

Try contacting the accounts manager and get this resolved. you need to have a contract which entitles you to download the security softwares as well.
