Windows Me and VPN Client 3.5 problems

I have a user running Windows Me and the 3.5 Cisco client. She connects fine to the VPN system. When she goes to run any resources like e-mail, telnet session to our mainframe, etc, that application totally locks up. We just converted from a Nortel VPN so these problems are new. Does anyone know of fixes/etc that need to be done on Me?
