Akamai DLM - WSA / S100V

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has had major issues trying to use  Akamai Download Manager via an ironport, download constantly fails , googling about the issue shows multiple with various proxies having issues, bluecoat posted a "fix" for their product by forcing http/1.0 from http/1.1 but as far as im aware you can't do this via an ironport.

Anyone encountered this issue and found a work around? otherwise I will have to log a support case and if its a proxy engine issue will be waiting awhile for this to be fixed..

Microsoft VLK And Partner download sites etc use this DLM...

Logged a case, this was due to 206 Partial Content, HTTP 206 are disabled globally on WSA, you can test by doing "rangerequestdownload" on the CLI (just remember to disable it), to resolve this, you need to create a "whitelist" with "allow" for an access policy this enabled the range request..
