Slowness After Migrating from WSA S190 to S196

After migrating from WSA S190 to S196, users reported that web pages were taking too long to load or respond for random users.

We performed a backup and restore, ensuring that all configurations and connectivity settings are identical. The logs indicate that everything is functioning as expected.

Does anybody have any suggestions or additional steps or checks we should consider?

Hello @MSN

Thank you for your post

Technically it should not be like this, I would say:

[1] can you please check and make sure there are no Amber LED on the WSA

[2] It is best to add the performance parameters in the accesslogs, then we will have full visibility of any latency from WSA side:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/secure-web-appliance-virtual/220456-configure-performance-parameter-in-acces.html

[3] may I ask:

[3-1] if the slowness happens all the time or just in busy hours?

[3-2] is it for all users? or some users ( if some what is common between them)

[3-3] is downloading large file slow or web surfing

[3-4] is it slow for both HTTP and HTTPS or just HTTPS

kindly be advised it is best to check the internet speed by downloading a file and not using Internet Speed Test Sites, please.

Regards,

Amirhossein Mojarrad
