Hi all

I have s170  work fine with wccp to ASA by M1 and P1

what is the advantage of using p2 ? and how i can use it

and can any one give me  any  config example or cvd  of using p2 I didn't fine it at all

You could bypass ASA limitation of using egress interface for redirection of WCCP, by using another interface. Since you mentioned you have a ASA though, I would recommend you to use PBR as a method for traffic redirection. Please refer to this document if you prefer to use PBR.

If you refer to AsyncOS 9.x User Guide, you will find a section named: "Using the P2 Data Interface for Web Proxy Data". I believe that will address your questions.

I deployed the WSAv appliances.  Since i wanted to isolate the traffic from management, I made the M1 only for management and then gave an IP on P1 (that is on the same subnet as the inside interface of the ASA) in order to keep the management out of band.  I also dedicated a nic team via VMware for P1 to allow for the proxy traffic
