Block Access To Local Contacts On Android & iPhone

We have a situation where we want to allow some employees to install the Webex app on their personal devices. Because we won't have control over those devices, we want to *block* the app from having access to their local contacts. We realize we cannot prevent someone from putting numbers in their local contacts, but if they can't dial from their local contacts - that might discourage it. I know you can tell the app to "don't allow" access to contacts during the installation and setup phase, but there's no way to force the app from accessing the local contacts.

At least I don't see a way to set that in the Webex Control Hub. Is it a feature I'm not finding? If so, where is it? If it's not a feature, how do we make a feature request. I know Meraki is great for feature requests, but I don't know how they handle feature requests on the webex side. Or does anyone have another suggestion?

I’m a bit unclear whether you mean custom contacts within the Webex app or iOS/Android contacts if the user attempts to place the call using the Webex app. It may be worth clarifying but I’m not aware of an option for either scenario. You can submit a feature request but there is so much on the backlog that you, IMHO, need a really strong business case to get it prioritized. You should also ask your Webex CSM in case they have a backend toggle available - most of those apply to the whole org though so be clear with the scope of your request.
