Webex Calling Local Gateway DNS & Import DigiCert

Hi Community,

I have a question about the DNS configured in the local gateway.

I want to know if it is mandatory to configure google DNS (8.8.8.8) or can it be the company's own DNS?

The question arises because I could not import the Digicert certificate in the local gateway (http://www.cisco.com/security/pki/trs/ios_core.p7b), and I do not know if it is due to a DNS or permissions issue in the network.

VGW-B(config)#crypto pki trustpool import clean url http://www.cisco.com/security/pki/trs/ios_core.p7b
% Error: failed to open file.

% No certificates imported from http://www.cisco.com/security/pki/trs/ios_core.p7b.

The company's DNS solves the domain of cisco.com without any problem, and they tell me that they have already validated the information regarding the permissions or port requirements for correct operation (https://help.webex.com/en-us/b2exve/Port-Reference-Information-for-Cisco-Webex-Calling).

VGW-B#ping cisco.com
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 72.163.4.185, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 41/41/42 ms
VGW-B#sh ip dns servers

@joseivan_11 : no it’s not mandatory to configure google DNS. I would say go with Cisco Umbrella DNS.
