How do I designate a device as "Primary" in CH?

There were multiple devices assigned to a user (8865, 8845, DX80) and the DX80 was labeled as the primary device. I have gone through and deleted all but the 8865 (as I want to set up the monitoring feature on this phone and its associated KEM) and that is the only device assigned to this user, but the "Primary" badge doesn't appear next to the device - therefore I can't apply the monitoring settings to this phone.

 

Is there any way to designate a device as Primary? Or do I need to delete everything and re add the device?

An existing device cannot be marked as primary device, ie. you cannot change the primary device either (there is a CR to upvote https://ciscocollaboration.ideas.aha.io/ideas/COLLAB-I-13873)

 

If a user has no primary device, the next device assigned to the user will become the user's primary one.
