My kids are using Webex for their online schooling, but kids are constantly chatting in the chat window. The sound notification is constantly beeping. Since they are using a Chromebook (again I'm sure a lot of schools/students are using the same) they are forced to use the Webex Browser interface.
Is there any way to disable the chat notification sound???!?!?!
With the PC Webex program, yes this is possible. You can just right click in the chat window, select the sound alerts, and unclick "Play the selected sound." This is great... But this option is no where to be found on the Browser interface that kids use for online school.
HELP!!! This constant beeping is out of control. (Yes, maybe the teacher can disable chats, but in the Webex suggested best practices, you want chats to be able to ask question WITHOUT DISTURBING the class...)
Note: School Chromebooks are typically ALWAYS locked down, you are not able to download additional Apps or extensions.
This should be a feature for the browser version of webex, as it's already a feature on the PC application.
