My students' chat messages not being captured in the recording?

Question regarding Webex Chat messaged being captured on the Webex recording. I have received multiple reports from teachers saying that although they have disabled private chat, and ensured that everyone of their students are sending chat messages to everyone, the chat messages are not captured in the Webex recording. They do notice that only certain students are captured in the recording, but not all. What should I have my teachers do to ensure that all chat messages are captured by the recording?

Thanks for the question! One thing you could do is have the instructor save the chat within the meeting before ending the meeting. And then cross-reference with the recording file to see where the discrepancy is.
