Hi,

If I have a 7 site location that I am wanting to do WebEx Calling do I need to purchase 7 Network Connects? 1 for each site?

If I purchase WebEx Suite for named users do I automatically get voicemail for each user? Do I also get CER feature as well or do I need to add it as an add-on which I am quoting this in CCW?

Hello @jsarkis,

1. Usually customers can have max 50 locations where they can have LGW/Cisco PSTN per location basis or they can have LGW/Cisco PSTN for few main locations and for all other locations they can route call to location with LGW/PSTN. (assuming LGW or Cisco PSTN for network connect)

2. Webex Calling license by default have voicemail - Reference: https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/n1qbbp7/Features-available-by-license-type-for-Webex-Calling and for CER in webex calling we have https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/av6oo3/Enhanced-Emergency-Calling-for-Webex-Calling#Cisco_Reference.dita_7dcef73d-8117-444f-bb67-727e47e1b645 but for right add-on detail, its best to reach out to our Cisco Sales person or account manager for assistance.

Webex calling is slightly out of context for this Ask me anything topic, but we tried our best to answer your question and we hope it helps you.

Hi experts,

I would like to understand a little better. What are the different scheduling options available for meetings?

Is there a comparison table or other support document that you can share with me, so I can consult?

Thanks for your advice

Hello @John Ventura

Thanks for your question and patience while we looked into this. There are different types of scheduling options available for Webex meetings and here are some knowledge base articles that will help you.

1. Using Webex scheduler add-in (replacement for Webex productivity tools):
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/nttajz6/Schedule-and-join-meetings-with-Webex-Scheduler-for-Microsoft-Outlook

2. Using Webex Site:
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/xm3o0v/Schedule-a-Webex-Meeting

3. Using Webex App (Formerly Webex Teams)
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/nu5w9x3/Webex-App-%7C-Schedule-a-meeting-from-a-space
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/nwtulzs/Webex-App-%7C-Schedule-a-meeting-using-@webex-or-@meet

4. Using Mobile devices:
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/qxzmuf/Schedule-Webex-Meetings-from-a-mobile-device

5. Using Webex for Google Workspace:
https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/4tzekz/Schedule-and-join-meetings-with-Webex-for-Google-Workspace

Here are two articles which has collective links for different scheduling options for easy bookmarking. https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/WBX9000035741/Schedule-a-Webex-Meeting#id_90862
https://help.webex.com/en-us/landing/ld-nyw95a4-WebexMeetings/Webex-Meetings#Schedule-Meetings

I am afraid, there isn't an article that has comparison details for scheduling options and I hope the information above helps.
Please let us know if you have any follow up questions. We will be glad to assist.

I would like to know steps to enable calling On-Prem Jabber application from WebEx app (Hybrid model). Please let me know the procedure to make this calling happen in our environment.

Hello @Aswin S

I understood that you are looking for guidelines on how to implement UCM calling in Webex App so you can call on-prem Jabber users from within Webex App.

Here is the deployment guide link that will take you through the steps to set up UCM calling in Webex App:

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any follow up questions, I will be glad to follow up.

Hi there,

Recording of meeting is not available after the meeting. That's normal? How can we fix that?

Thanks,

Lisa

Hello @whitlelisa Thanks for your question.

No, it's not normal for the recordings to not show after the meeting is ended. Depending on file size and bandwidth, it can take up to 24 hours to receive your recording. Very rarely, it may take longer than usual to receive your recording. When the recording is ready, you will receive an email with the recording and all the details you need to play and share it with others. Webex stores all your recorded meetings either locally on your computer or on your Webex site. You can find your recordings and share or download them from your Webex site. Also, another way to find if your meeting is recorded or not is by checking your meetings list on your Webex site to see if your meeting was successfully recorded.

Just in case if you have done a local recording using default path, you may check it in below path.

For Windows: Recordings started from within a meeting are accessible from the Documents folder in My Computer.
For Mac: Recordings started from within a meeting are accessible from the Home folder using Finder.

In case you are unable to find the recording with above information, I would be happy to check it further if you would like to share the meeting number.

Also, here is a good KB article that has information about Webex recordings -

https://collaborationhelp.cisco.com/en-us/article/n62735y/Webex-%7C-Record-a-meeting#id_134752

Unable to do content sharing in the meeting. What did I do wrong?

Jackson

Hello @Jackson Braddock Thanks for your question.

Is this a one-off issue or can you replicate content sharing issue in all meetings? do you get any error when trying to share content? If yes, please share a screenshot.

Also, here is a KB article that has solutions for different content sharing issues, please review and see if it covers the issue you are running into. Upon accessing this article, Click on Troubleshooting Resources > Scroll down to "In-Meeting Issues" > Share tab.
