Greetings and Happy New Year!
I was reviewing the Known Issues and Limitations post from December 20, 2020, and I see that "future releases" will address breakout room features not currently supported (whiteboard, file sharing, etc.). Does anybody know more specific timeline on these releases?
Here is some context for my question: We have been using Training Center for our virtual education over the last year. It has truly helped us shift the organization in the midst of the global pandemic, so we are truly thankful for it. However, the breakout room video functionality in Meetings is a big plus (as well as the overall breakout room management and user prompts). So we are considering a shift from Training Center to Meetings for online education at some point in 2021. However, the lack of ability to open whiteboards, share files and bring content from breakout rooms back into the main session (all available in Training Center) limit us somewhat when we are doing virtual classroom sessions. These are great features and functions for a classroom setting and I did not know if Training Center (which has not had any enhancements of late) is going to "go away" once Meetings is "beefed up" some more. Does anybody within the Cisco community have insight for us so we can plan accordingly for our virtual class offerings in 2021?
Thanks.
Eric
