Default Video Device

Dear Community,

  Is there a way to have Webex default to my USB camera so I don’t have to switch it for each meeting I join?

  I’m using Webex Client Version 40.9.6.11 on a windows laptop. I have two video cameras on this laptop and the application keeps defaulting to use the small built-in camera above my laptop screen instead of the USB based Microsoft LifeCam that I have above my external monitor.

Are you using the Webex Meetings Desktop app to join meetings? If so, did you check the "Meeting Join Option" in the Preferences of your desktop app?
There you can specify to "Use my last audio and video settings" or to "Always use the following audio and video settings":
