not able to create a meeting

I am using the free version of webex and cannot create a meeting

i keep seeing this message that it is creating a personal meeting link. do i need a paid plan to create a meeting? this link https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/now995h/Get-started-with-your-free-Webex-plan is saying:

Host secure, virtual meetings that last up to 40 minutes, with up to 100 attendees in your Webex.

so why can't i create a meeting? what a stupid app i must say!

hey Morpheus, 

From the screenshot, looks like the meeting link for your account has not been generated, could you please login via web.webex.com (Browser version of the Webex app) and check the meetings/calendar section and let me know if you can schedule meetings from there?

If the web browser shows the proper link, then please logout of the Webex app and join back again to reload the details.

i have tried both - the desktop app as well as the web client and the
screenshot is from the web client. one thing i have not done is link a
calendar. i don't think that should have any relation to being able to
create a meeting.
