I'm wondering if there is a way to turn off the floating notification pop-up for messages, but still have a notification number appear in the system tray next to the spark icon (kind of like how Skype does it)?
I still need to be notified if there is a message, but the floating pop up can be seen by other staff members, it is not very private.
Currently if you turn off or mute notifications it hides them completely so you don't know there is any message at all.

This wrecks the experience on the Desk Pro. Guys, you need to fix this. Thanks.

I guess, both postings may be interesting for you, perhaps you even want to vote for "-504" ?

Yes and yes. I need something like a DND mode that can be toggled on/off very easily from the main view, and that also will silence/disable banners and sound automatically when in a one-on-one call or in a CISCO meeting. I would still like to see the badges.
