opt out of webex assistant

this feature was added as a "free" trial by default.  Even though I as the host disable it at the start of my meeting it reenables itself everytime a new member joins the meeting.  I host anonymous support meeting where recordings are prohibited.  This feature is causing a lot of aggrevation.  How do I permanently opt out or disable this function?  Thanks.

You can disable the feature by navigating to your Webex site and select Preferences > Scheduling > Uncheck "Automatically turn on the Webex Assistant whenever I start a meeting"

Or you can ask you administrator to disable it:
Webex Assistant can be turned on/off for a whole organisation, a Webex site or specific users, as described in the following article:
