Video works for booked conferencing but not one-to-one calls from WebEx

When I do one-to one calls in WebEx, the other party cannot see my Video.

Under Settings / WebEx Options, if I select Audio, it works fine; the Tests work ok.

If I select Video, I don't see any video in the preview box.

If I join a booked call for a meeting my video is visible to others, I can change the virtual background etc - no problems.

What do I do to get the video to work in one-to-one calls?

Thank you,

Ian Davies

Hi

I think you may be using Webex teams when doing 1-2-1 calls and I’m not sure if you are on a pc or Mac?

If you are on a MAC and using Webex app for 1-2-1 calls can you check the permissions on your MAC laptop allow the Webex App to access the camera?

Also try if using Webex teams logging into a web browser with your credentials at http://teams.Webex.com and placing a 1-2-1 call and see if your browser pops up an allow permission to access camera and see if video and audio work that way? Just to check whether it’s a Webex app and camera permission issue?

Thanks
Ashish
