Recover a recording

Currently waiting for my recording that's 48 hours overdue. I used the desktop app to record and last I saw was the pop-up for "Your recording is being prepared..." How likely am I going to receive the recording? Should I consider it lost? Is there a way to recover the file?

Is there any chance to recover recordings (younger than 30 days) that were saved locally? I recorded a rather long meeting in one file and set the recording to save it locally but unfortunately my computer shut down during the file generating process and now I am not sure whether the file is lost and would like to know of there is any way to recover yesterdays's recording.

Yes, I did. There was no recording for that date.
