The title sums up the issue.
A VIP at my company is suddenly only able to run Webex Meetings when he launches the app as an administrator, and if he tries opening it normally the app will flash like it's starting to open but then go away and never run.
His domain account is in the computer's Administrators group. His version of Meetings is 40.12.5.14 and he's also running the latest version of the Webex Productivity Tools plugin for Outlook.
Things we've tried:
- Uninstall both apps and run the Meetings Services Removal Tool
- Reinstall Webex Meetings
- Reinstall Webex Productivity Tools
- Confirmed that Cisco WebEx Productivity Tools Update Service and Cisco WebEx Update Service are running
He's able to launch the app normally when running it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. When running Windows compatibility check on it, it says that ptoneclk.exe is not compatible. His current OS is Windows 10.
I'm desperate to find a solution/resolution to this.
