Webex Thin Client Meeting not appearing in Outlook calendar

A user scheduled a meeting on webex.com. The meeting never appeared on their Outlook (thick client) calendar.

I didn't see the email in their inbox either.

I can't replicate this error. I had the user schedule a test meeting and the email/calendar event appeared as expected. 

I've searched high and low for answers as to why this happened and am turning up with no results.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?
