I wonder if formatting text will be available for the iOS version of Teams. Even the native formatting option available on iOS after selecting text would be a good start.

I am having trouble using markdown with multiple lines. For example, when I paste in this entire block, it works great:
```
Line1
Line 2
Line 3
```
but when I try typing that in manually, I can't get the markdown to work because it takes the above block as five different messages!

Wes Schochet, you have to hit Ctrl-Enter when entering multiple lines to have them go through as a single message.

Completely agree with the need to support LaTeX and math equations using markdown. That would open this up to the entire STEM community!
