Webex - migration from Site Administration to Control Hub Administration

We are getting a Salesforce error --

We support Webex sites that are administered through the Cisco Webex Control Hub. Contact your Webex site administrator to change your administration type.

I'm assuming we need to migrate over to Control Hub administration.  Can anyone confirm if that's correct?  Thanks for your discussion.

I found this in the Salesforce docs. --

NOTE Salesforce supports Webex sites that are administered through the Cisco Webex Control Hub. If you use Webex Site Administration, contact your Webex sales representative to change your administration type. Your Webex site administrator can provide the site name. An example is https://siteName.webex.com, where siteName is your company’s Webex site name.

The message from Salesforce appears to be clear; i.e. your Webex site needs to be Control Hub managed rather than Site Admin Managed. I suspect this is due to how the integration is done and the APIs used, Site admin is legacy, all new sites (unless otherwise requested) would be Control Hub managed.

However, bear in mind there is no site migration process from Site Admin to Control Hub, it requires the site to be removed and then re-added or a new site URL to be used.

Thanks. I am currently in this process – and Cisco does call it a migration – but you right it is kind of a start new and migrate some things too. Like a hybrid migration. Anyway, I’ll try and report back if it solved our Salesforce issue.
