1815i how to get the ME firmware and upgrade ?

Hey,

just bought a Cisco AP 1815i but actualy running CAPWAP version.

I would like to use the Mobile express firmware instead of CAPWAP.

As I can understand, it's not complicatd but some files are not available without an existing contract with cisco.

So, is there any solution to solve my problem ?

here are the details of my AP:

cisco AIR-AP1815I-E-K9 ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l) with 1015920/837340K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID FGL2315B15Y
AP Running Image : 8.3.143.0
Primary Boot Image : 8.3.143.0
Backup Boot Image : 0.0.0.0

as cisco software is licensed, you need to buy the right software version, you are now licensed for the CAPWAP version

-> go to your vendor and negotiate how to exchange the AP for a ME version.
