Hello,
i have AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9 running as autonomous connected to Huawei HG8240T OPT
i configure DHCP pool on the AP then i disabled the DHPC from the huawei
i can get ip from the AP but no internet , i but the default router & DNS every thing should be fine but no internet , would you please help me

i don't have any switch this is wireless network only.
i tried to reset the AP also i tried to use the other site AP with no luck.

i just wonder why it's not going through the AP. any way thanks for your time and help.

I don't know either, because as long as you have your dns servers and your gateway configured right, that is all you need.

exactly , seems its from the hg8240T not the AP.

The thing is that the AP should be handing out address not the modem. So maybe the modem is only allowing access if the device uses dhcp from the modem.

i don't think i tried with D-Link DIR868L DHCP enabled and all the devices connected to the DLink get the ip from it with internet access normal.

Hello , i just figure it out if i start my DHCP pool from 10.10.10.5 the device's will take IP from the AP but no internet if i exclude the DHCP Pool from 10.10.10.1 10.10.10.128 any device will connect and get internet access !! that's very strange!!
so below 10.10.10.128 no internet !! above 128 there's internet !!

it's not an issue with the wireless, and for me it's okay to since i don't have full access to the HG8240T as it's blocked from the ISP side , so i'm okay with it since i manage to make the AP give IP's

what if i need to give IP's to the wired client which is connected to the huawei lan ?
