I have a 3702I (AIR-CAP3702I-A-K9) that suddenly stopped talking via its Ethernet port. It was in production for about 3 years with no problems. It will boot if I attach it to a power injector, but the switch port connected to the injector never shows activity. (The switch port is good, it's used frequently on our test bench. Not disabled.)
While consoled into the AP it appears to start up normally, but at the very end of the boot process it starts generating this two or three times a minute. The LED stays green, flashing between normal green and brighter green (not going off and on). I couldn't find references explaining the LED condition or the error below for this model of AP. Anyone else had this problem?

Looks like a hardware issue!!
Best would be to contact Cisco TAC.

Hi mate,
Have you tried doing hard reset on the AP?
You mentioned it doesn't get power thru PoE right?
Also what's the config on your switchport.
Cheers,
Raffy

A good idea. We tried that but it didn't help. Don't know if TAC would have been helpful; we replaced the AP and moved on.
The switchport worked (and continues to work) fine with other WAP's.
