5520 GLC-T not working

Hi,

Hopefully this is a very simple question to answer. Has the bug: CSCvc13175 GLC-T SFP stopped working in CT5520 (1G Port down on 5520) been fixed in the latest 8.3 and 8.5 code releases. I'm pretty sure is has been but I'm just verifying it for a customer who is having a problem bringing his 5520 Controller ports up using a 1G SFP. He has tried 8.3.150.0 and 8.5.151.0 codes without success.

Many thanks

Yes, that bug has been fixed long, long time ago.

Thanks Leo. I think that the customer was trying to use cheap SFPs and I've now persuaded him to source pukka Cisco ones. Although the "compatible" ones might work with his Cisco switches the 5520 were having none of it.

Sometimes the WLC needed a reload, if switching between SFP+ and SFP in the same port. Also a mixture of them is not allowed (unless you break the LAG).
