Antenna placement Omni 5.5 dbi

We are building a wireless mess for a bus garage and we speced cisco omni 5.0 dbi for the 802.11 a radio. however we plan to mount these from ceiling of the building.  When the antenna came in they have a sticker on them that says do not hang upside down. Is this new, if so where is the documentation on why not to hang this way.

Hi, it has to do with Water drainage and to avoid the Antenna to be filled with water due to rain. This is why the sticker started being placed. Maybe 1.5 years ago if my memory is correct.

So if the antenna is not exposed to rain, dont worry about it.
