We are in the process of deploying about 40 of these units throughout our network. Somewhere between 30 and 50% are not able to find the uplink address and reachable gateway right out of the box. I get one that gets to a boot> prompt and goes no further. Do any of you have any suggestions on firstly, stopping the scrolling error messages so one might be able to do some configuration? The ," no logging console command" does not seem to work on these. According to the docs, during a factory reset attempt, I never get an amber light. When adding power while holding down the reset, I get a flashing blue/green lamp; then after about 20 seconds, it changes to red and that's when I let go of the button. Mind you, all of these problems are on brand new out of the box units.

Looks like you got AP that haven't go through proper QC. 

Let your Cisco AM know about it and see what they can do to reduce the pain you have to go through.
