AP1815w Built in Switch - How to Enable

Hello,

I have an Aironet AP1815w which I have added to my Mobility Express network (8.8.120.0).  It joins the the ME controller just fine and seems work well for wireless clients so far.  However, the built in switch will not do anything.  It appears to not even power up, except for a single flash of the LEDs on boot up (amber).  No lights after that.  Nothing.  There is no setting within Mobility Express to set it up either.

Does this need to be enabled through CLI?

Main LED does nothing after boot up either.

Any advice on this?

Hi,

You have to SSH to ME controller and issue the commands below through CLI.

config ap lan over-ride enable "AP NAME"
config ap lan port-id 1 enable "AP NAME"
config ap lan poe-out enable "AP NAME"
config ap lan port-id 1 poe enable "AP NAME"
config ap lan enable access vlan "vlan-id" "port-id" "AP NAME"
