APs 1852 not join after WLC restart.

I use Cisco Wireless LAN Controller 2504 and AP 1852.

I config AP joined to Wireless LAN Controller 2504. If Wireless LAN Controller reboot, AP not re-join to Cisco 2504.

Please help me fix this problem.

Many thanks.

Regards.

Just as suspected. The WLC isn't configured with NTP. This is why every time the WLC reboots the AP won't join until the correct time and date is configured.

That sounds like NTP is not configured on the WLC.  Post the complete output to the following commands:
1. WLC: sh sysinfo;
2. WLC: sh time; and
3. AP: sh version

1. You need to configure a reachable NTP server with valid time.

2. Check if your WLC requires a FUS upgrade (I would say yes): https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/fus-rn-20.html

paste the complete bootup process from AP console.

Dear Sir/Madam

I cleared config and reboot AP.

I will schedule to reboot WLC at this weekend and inform later.

I very thanks for your reply.

Best regards

Just as suspected. The WLC isn't configured with NTP. This is why every time the WLC reboots the AP won't join until the correct time and date is configured.

Thank you very much.
