Hi Vishal,
the configuration you need is the MBSSID, described here:
The step-by-step instructions from both GUI and CLI are described at this paragraph:
In a nutshell, from CLI, you enable "mbssid" under the dot11radio[0|1]:
ap(config)# interface d0
ap(config-if)# mbssid
ap(config-if)# exit
Then, you add the "mbssid guest-mode" within the SSID config:
ap(config)# dot11 ssid visitor
ap(config-ssid)# mbssid guest-mode dtim-period 75
ap(config-ssid)# exit
Then you enable the SSID on the dot11radio interface:
ap(config)# interface d0
ap(config-if)# ssid visitor
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Federico

hi,
can i create multiple SSIDs without using vlans??
06-13-2011 09:20 AM
No we cannot.. In Autonomous Infra structure.. its always 1:1 mapping.. that is 1 VLAN : 1 SSID mapping..
Lemme know if this answered ur question and please dont forget to rate the usefull posts!!
