C9300 (eWLC / embedded WLC) snmp bsnAPTable

Hi,

I was not able to get wireless accesspoint information on snmp (bsnAPTable) from a C9300 series running eWLC.

It says that this object does not exist:

iso.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.1.1 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

https://snmp.cloudapps.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?objectInput=1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.2.1.1&translate=Translate&submitValue=SUBMIT&submitClicked=true

Does anyone know of a solution to get AP info from these systems with snmp?

Thanks,

Jørgen

Cisco seems to be focussing their initial efforts on the new management models and SNMP as an afterthought: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-8/b_c9800_programmability_telemetry_dg.html

There are numerous bugs open for this and looks like they are working on fixing in fuure releases but all broken today ...

Suggest you open a TAC case to ask about the specific MIBs you're interested in.  The more customers wanting the feature the higher priority for fixing it.

Hi,

Thanks for the info and links.

Using netconf/restconf is indeed something we are going to look into.
