Hi,

I have Cisco WLC 2504 whose management ip address is 192.168.1.100 and port 1, when I am connecting through port 1 directly I can access WLC GUI but when I am connecting this port of WLC to switch (with just ip address in vlan 1 192.168.1.123) and AP (192.168.1.2XX) and try to access the WLC GUI the page is not displaying although I can ping the controller.

version of Wireless LAN Controller Software-7.6.120.0(ED)

Thanks.

Hi,

If you want to access wlc via wireless then Please use these commands:

Via GUI:

Management > Mgmt Via Wireless and enable this check box and apply.

Via CLI:

config network mgmt-via-wireless enable.

Hi

When a PC is connected to the switch, you can you ping 192.168.1.100?

If you are connected via Wi-Fi, you will need to enable Management over wireless, otherwise you cannot manage the controller.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/7-2/configuration/guide/cg/cg_security_sol.html#wp1880985

If still not working, please provide the switch configuration in an attachment and show interface summary from the controller.

Best Regards.

Christian

Just to complete this discussion, access is not possible if you are connected to an OEAP.

Hi:

I did your recommendation but still not working for me. What else can be done?

Please start your own thread. If you tried what was posted, it must be another issue.
