You will need to download the smarphone app.

I have it but unless the AP is willing to join the controller, its not an option.

Hi there,

I got the same issue with virtual wireless controller version 8.8.111.0 and an AIR-AP2702E-UXK9 and software Version 15.3(3)JI4.

After factory reset ap joins and downloads primary software image, but after reload not joined and error:

Lwapp configuration request rejected

Regulatory domain check has failed for the AP

No priming with app nor automatic with another primed AP is working as it can´t be seen any longer in wlc onsole. I don´t know what to do now.

Thanks.

Do not use 8.8.111.0.

Thanks.

I tested also with the latest Version

Release 8.8.120.0 ED

But no luck so back to 8.8.111.0. And then after another time deletion of capwap-saved-config and lwapp_ssc_token.cfg suddenly he got primed by NDR from another webapp primed AP and joined to wlc successfully.

What a crazy development by Cisco. I wouldn´t recommend to buy any universal APs anymore.

Thanks a lot.

This means you need to re-prime the AP for UX.
Don't use 8.8.111.0 or you'll have troubles.
