Change the name of an active AP Group?

Is there a way to change the name of an active AP group?  I don't see a way to do it via the GUI, but is there a way over the CLI?  It seems pretty counterintuitive that we'd have to create a new group, then move all APs to that group causing them to reboot for a simple name change..

Nope. You have to create a new one.

That's what I thought.. Cisco is brilliant at getting the complicated stuff right, but it's the simple things they have trouble with.  :)

Thanks for the response.

Go the the GUI Dashboard and cast your eyes to the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.  There is an "email" icon.  Click on that and tell them the feature you're requesting, i.  e.  "change the AP Group name".

I'm not saying that they'll do this but it'll give them the opportunity to evaluate the feature request.

Another way is to send an email to your Cisco AM/SE and ask them to raise a Product Enhancement Request (PER).
