Cisco 1700 association issue with WLC 5520

Hi All,

Am I doing wrong or is there some software problem not sure.

We are trying to join Cisco 1700 LWAP with Cisco WLC 5520 8.1.110. and getting following error

*Mar 14 05:32:54.999: %DTLS-5-SEND_ALERT: Send FATAL : Close notify Alert to 172.17.x.x:5246
*Mar 14 05:32:54.999: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTERRORLOG: Load nvram:/lwapp_ap.cfg config failed, trying backup...
*Mar 14 05:32:54.999: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTERRORLOG: Load nvram:/lwapp_ap.cfg.bak config failed...
*Mar 14 05:32:54.999: spamInitRadCfg: recovery image default mode 0

*Mar 14 05:32:55.011: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTERRORLOG: Load nvram:/lwapp_ap.cfg config failed, trying backup...
*Mar 14 05:32:55.015: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTERRORLOG: Load nvram:/lwapp_ap.cfg.bak config failed...

We are able to ping WLC, DNS from AP and did CISCO-CAPWAP-CONTROLLER entry in DNS server with WLC management IP.

Can anyone knows what I am doing mistake.

Thanks

Kamlesh

8.1.110 has been withdrawn by

8.1.110 has been withdrawn by Cisco.  Any chance you can upgrade to something else, like 8.1.131.0 or 8.2.100.0?

This is a troubleshooting guide for access points not joining.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/5500-series-wireless-controllers/119286-lap-notjoin-wlc-tshoot.html

Try (form the console) manually joining the AP to the controller.

"debug lwapp console cli"
or
"debug capwap console cli"

lwapp ap controller ip address <IP-address>
