Cisco 1810W Uplink

Would someone be able to tell me if the OEAP 1810W or comparable models support wireless bridged uplink instead of plugging in for Internet access?  Or do they have to operate with a copper uplink to provide network access?

Hi @tom.neteng

According to the datasheet, it does not support mesh and those ethernet Port must be used to connect devices to the network and not connect the AP to a wan or similar.

Devices which are connected to the Ethernet ports have the traffic send to the WLC.

-If I helped you somehow, please, rate it as useful.-

What you looking is WGB mode support (or equivalent ) on those AP model. currently it is not supported, hopefully with future code releases it may available.(I hope so)

Thanks.

But I can do OEAP? And have it act as a Remote Access Point for branch offices?

And put a WLC on a public IP and have tunnel all from remote workers?
