Hi guy’s,

I have a problem with one of my access points (AIR-AP1832I-E-K9C).

When the access points is booting, the access point going in error.

On the console view get I a message from L2 error detection.

Means this that there is a problem with de NIC of the access points? I have already used another cable or port on my switch but this solved not the problem.

Are you able to share:

  • Output of the console session showing the exact error
  • Details of the switch port config the AP is connecting to

Have you tested a known working AP on that port/cable? If so does that work.

Do you also see any errors on the switch side? if so share those as well.

Hi,

The output of the console session can be found in my first post (file in attachment).

I have tested a working access point on the same port and cable and this works fine.

On the switch side there are no detectable errors, only notifications of port up and down.

That is very unusual. I guess nothing happens anymore once the AP reached that point in the boot process?
I would suggest to do a factory reset with the mode button and if that doesn't help, involve RMA.
