Cisco AP Mode on Branch Office

Hi Guys,

So I got a task to change the current AP on my branch office from Non-Cisco to Cisco 2802. I know a bit of FlexConnect mode for branch office deployment, but I never deployed it. Is it really a better option compared to Local mode?

On my deployment, there would be 2 SSIDs, 1 with 802.11x authentication and the other is with captive portal. All of the appliances such as DHCP server, WLC, and printer server is located on HQ. The link has 10Mbps bandwidth with around 10-15 people. Will there be any special concern for this kind of deployment?

Thank you.

Hi my friend,
You can review the following limitations when using FlexConnect compared to the local mode:

I hope it is very helpful

It works perfectly. You need t9o make teh the specific requirement and WLC/AP must be configured correctly.
